Product Experience Design using Behavioral Science (PxDB), First Principle Labs, India

  • Worked along with 3 product and visual designers to solve for binge-watching. 

  • Conducted literature review individually exploring the definition, and history of binge-watching behavior, types, development, physical, mental, environmental and social consequences. (Self)

  • Conducted survey analysis (83 responses) and interviews (14) to identify common behaviors and consequences of prolonged binge watching. (Group)

  • Used the Impact, Likelihood, and Spill-over (ILS) matrix to identify the behavior to be targeted. (Self)

  • Conducted COM-B analysis for the problem chosen - ‘prolonged sitting/lying while binge-watching.’ (Self)

  • Used Persona and Journey map to outline the intervention strategy clearly. (Group)

  • Suggested intervention design using behavioral science insights, principles and frameworks (EAST) (Self)

  • Delivered a prototype of the design intervention considering ethics and sustainability (Group).
